Hi there. My name's Sam and I'm building a tiny house in North Vancouver, BC. I'm on the search for an open-minded homeowner with an interest in community & sustainable living, and an accessible backyard where I can park my home. A bit about me: I recently completed my Master's degree in Land and Food Systems at UBC and am a UBC farm practicum alumna. My work involves sustainable/urban agriculture, animal welfare, holistic education & spiritual ecology. My tiny house will be 22' long x 10' wide x 13.5' high, on a flatbed trailer (wheels can be removed). I will require basic water & electrical inputs needed (No blackwater system needed - I will have a compost toilet). The frame is currently being built, so I am looking to move mid-late April. Either short- or long-term stay is fine by me! In exchange for a corner of your backyard, I'm willing to give back via property tax payments, gardening services, or other barter (in addition to water/electrical payments). My ideal neighbour would be cat-friendly and keen to share an occasional meal or glass of wine:). If it interests you to have a friendly & respectful tiny house neighbour who's involved in sustainable community development, please contact me for more information. Also feel free to check out my blog: www.smallspacemoreplace.wordpress.com. Many thanks for your consideration, I hope to hear from you!
